Principal's Message
Dear Eliseo C. Felix Community,
Welcome back to the 2026-2027 school year! It’s wonderful to see familiar faces and to welcome new members to our school family. Together, we are ready to embark on a year filled with discovery, growth and achievement.
This year, our focus will be on embracing our four key learning dispositions: being curious, collaborative, persistent and reflective. These qualities will guide us in creating a learning environment where everyone can succeed and feel empowered.
We encourage you to be curious—ask questions, explore new ideas and dive into your learning with enthusiasm. Curiosity opens doors to creativity and deeper understanding.
Being collaborative means working together, sharing ideas and supporting one another. Our school community thrives when we build strong connections and value every voice.
Persistence is the key to overcoming challenges. This year, we will celebrate effort and resilience, reminding you that setbacks are just stepping stones toward success.
Finally, being reflective helps us learn from our experiences. Taking time to think about what worked well and what can improve will make you a stronger learner and a thoughtful individual.
Our dedicated teachers and staff have carefully planned lessons and activities that bring these dispositions to life every day. Whether in the classroom, at recess, or at home, you will have countless opportunities to practice these habits and grow.
Our Panthers will also learn the power of setting academic learning goals and the impact these goals have in their growth and learning. We encourage our families to ask our students questions about the goals they have set for themselves and where they are in their learning journey.
Remember, your learning journey is unique, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Let’s make this year one of curiosity, collaboration, persistence and reflection—and together build a school community where everyone shines.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lillian Wagner
